Brand New Music: Rihanna - We Found Love
For all of your Rihanna fanaticz out there, thiz one'z juzt for you. Rihanna'z tweetz recently have hinted at the releaze of a new single from a still unnamed album set for releaze in the fall of 2011. Which iz not very far. Not far at all. That said, the new single featuring producer Calvin Harris is titled "We Found Love" az you may already know and waz play for the firzt time publicly, juzt a few momentz ago on CapitalFM radio station. Liztenerz glued their earz to the speakerz to get that firzt burzt of sound and I can say thiz waz actually worth it. Not a bad firzt single Ri.
The song iz juzt over three minutez and haz sort of a house muzic/techno kind of feel to it. I uzually don't like songz like that but thiz one got me. The artwork above waz releazed not long after Rihanna let go of the yrics to the song on her facebook fanpage. More releazez are set for her facebook followerz with her "Rihanna: Unlocked" campaign strictly for facebook giving exlusive dropz and hint about her upcoming project. If the song are like some of "LOUD" and what we heard in "We Found Love", then it should be an album to look forward to.
Check the song out below and get your copy. Hope you enjoy the muzic. Peace.

PTAP: Bahama Mama Initiative for The Bahamas
As of late The Bahamas and it's people have been searching for a place in a new world. Everything has been growing and changing ever so quickly and most times we seem so far behind as a country, especially concerning technology. As it should be with all endeavors though, we must not solely search for a place in the future, but also remember where it is our journey has brought us from and our heritage. Both Individually and as a united whole.
The Public Treasury Department of The Bahamas, having recently moved from it's Bay Street & East Street location to it's present location on East Street North has chosen to
transform common areas of the building into a space
where both emerging and established artists can display original artwork
I commend the Public Treasury Art Program's (PTAP) coordinators on an awesome idea. With so many new and talented artists of all kinds emerging here in The Bahamas, an outlet to display God given gifts will no doubt be greatly appreciated. The Public Treasury along with a private sponsor will be launching this initiative on the 26th of this month (September), under the theme "Bahama Mama", aiming to encourage Bahamian artists and showcase both local and regional art.
A talented group of female artists of all kinds, Photographers, Painters, designers, writers, etc have been asked to participate in this exhibit which will run for a total of five months.
This younger generation of artist have so much to offer and PTAP is helping with this window from which to be heard, seen and discovered. PTAP's blog HERE allows you to "meet" the artist prior to the inaugural exhibition via pieces displayed on its site. Artists like Dede Brown, Carla Campbell, Anina Banks, Apryl Burrows and so many others show what true talent they have and how they have mastered their individual crafts. Also when visiting PTAP online you will have the opportunity to see some of these artists personal take on the PTAP exhibit and what their take on a "Bahama Mama" truly is.
For More info on the Public Treasury Art Program remember to check them out on Blogspot, hit them up on Twitter and "Like" their page on Facebook...oh and leave your comments on their wall. I'm sure they'd be happy to hear some of your feedback on what they're doing. and if you're an artist you're
definitely gonna wanna make your way down to the exhibit on the 26th to do a little to see what else is out there, aswell as everyone else; PTAP is inviting you all out to the general opening of the exhibit and throughout the rest of the five months, so make your way down. See you there.

New Mixtape: Lil Wayne - "Sorry For The Wait"
It seemz like the wait for Lil Wayne'z "Carter IV" continuez to get a little longer everytime itz mentioned. So to hold hiz fanz out until it'z official releaze in Auguzt, Tune announced that he would drop a mixtape similar to what he did with hiz "No Ceilingz" tape back in '09 called "Sorry 4 The Wait" and the title caught on quickly. Tune explained that the fanz are what itz all about and he by no meanz wantz them to feel neglected so the mixtape iz Wayne'z apology to the fanz for the constant puzh back of hiz album'z releaze date. Well Wayne, I think your "apology" will be accepted and greatly appreciated. Wayne in "No Ceilingz" fazhion gatherz a menagerie of beatz from popular artiztz and getz to work. Getting at trackz like Kreayshawn'z "Gucci Gucci" (a track which definitely needed a do-over), Meek Mill & Rick Rozz'z "Tupac Back", YC'z "Rackz", Beyonce'z "Run The World" & a few other jointz. Wayne made it clear that thiz one waz for the fanz....So hear it iz guyz, Sorry 4 The Wait.....and remember Share, Comment & ofcourze Enjoy!!
